Newbie
She’s not really a newbie…she’s been volunteering for quite a while. Well, we finally got smart and officially hired Deanna Braswell as of January 1, 2008.
Deanna and her husband Gary started attending RPC a few months before Ava (15 months) was born. Gary was invited by our drummer who worked with him at the time. Through a series of events, Deanna started volunteering at RPC a few days a week. She ended up going back to her old job, but we realized we couldn’t live without her so we snatched her back up.
RPC: So you got asked to visit us at RPC and thought….?
Deanna: I checked the website thoroughly before we came. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t getting myself into anything crazy…it ended up being crazy! But in a good way.
RPC: What else did you like about RPC?
Deanna: You know, the band does a lot and they’re really talented, but we were especially interested in Timm’s messages. That’s what keeps people here.
RPC: How do you feel about working here so far?
Deanna: I love it! I especially love the people.
(at that moment everyone started yelling at her the specific things they wanted her to say….)

Starting Point Moved to January 13th
If you were planning on attending the new session of Starting Point, it has been moved back to Sunday, January 13th. Please mark your calendars!

Ski Trip 2008

Starting Point – January 6, 2008
If you’re curious about this God person we keep talking about, new to Christianity, or maybe you just want to take a refresher course, than Starting Point is a great step for you. Beginning January 6th this group will meet at 8:45 AM in the Youth Building. It’s a safe place for people with questions about God and for those who want to learn more about the Bible.
